Azealia Banks confronted yet another backlash after she tweeted homophobic and racial insults to Zayn Malik, who she accused of copying her look in his video, "Like I Would." She called Malik "the token sand n***a from 1D," and "f****t."
What makes someone get suspended from Twitter? The New York Daily News reports:
"The 140-character platform suspends users' accounts, either temporarily or permanently, if they engage in 'abusive tweets or behavior.'"
However, a Twitter rep told Daily News that "[they] do not comment on individual accounts, for privacy and security reasons." Whatever, all we know is the Twitter-sphere is a slightly safer space without Azealia in it.
