Mississippi's recent "religious freedom" bill has upset many locals and outsiders alike, allowing for discrimination against LGBT people. It's caused numerous celebrities to cancel concerts, productions, and other business within the state.
But one local celebrity, Lance Bass, has taken it upon himself to fight hate with love. The Mississippi native recently returned home to help plant a community garden and announce his intentions to bring a "concert for love" to the hospitality state. He's currently working with entertainment promoters Live Nation to organize this concert that would raise money to fight the bill.
