Reigning Queen of Comedy, Amy Schumer, has been doing her utmost to make 2015 her year. Hit movie: check. Buzzed-about TV show: check. Playing New York's famed Apollo Theater and filming her very own HBO special: two birds, one stone.
Back in May, Schumer performed at the storied Harlem venue, a major milestone for many performers, and we've got the result on film. Directed by the one-and-only Chris Rock, Amy Schumer: Live at the Apollo debuts on HBO on October 17, and if the trailer is anything to go on, it'll be a must-see.
In the 50-second clip, Schumer talks about prepping for Train Wreck, dating, and how she's "very old-school," (i.e. "I think the guy should always pay on the first date for sex.").
We've got the clip below:
Amy Schumer: Live at the Apollo airs October 17 at 10/9c on HBO.
