Trailer/Promo Drop for The Mindy Project and New Book, Why Not Me?

Trailer/Promo Drop for The Mindy Project and New Book, Why Not Me?

Mindy Kaling all day every day.

Oh, what a week to be Mindy Kaling. This morning we all freaked out when the trailer dropped for the fourth season of The Mindy Project along with a promo for her highly anticipated second book, Why Not Me?. And if that wasn't enough, this coming Tuesday, September 15, will also see the debut of Season 4 and the release of Why Not Me?.

But remember when the show almost didn't happen? After The Mindy Project was cancelled by Fox, devout fans everywhere collectively wept. Hulu, which regarded the show as one its most highly valued properties, came to our aid and resurrected the series, even expanding its episode count from 21 to 26 episodes. Hulu will air an episode each week, in the same way Yahoo released the sixth season of Community earlier this year.

Why Not Me? is hitting shelves three years after her first book, Is Everyone Hanging Out Without Me? (and Other Concerns). Documenting her experiences of the past few years, this collection of personal essays promises the same self-deprecating wit and insight we've come to expect from the comedienne.

In the meantime, enjoy the Season 4 trailer below:
