Rachel Maddow: Trump' Presidential Campaign 'Is a Gift from God’

How do you solve a problem like Donald Trump. The man is a clown--not just follicly, but politically, socially, and in nearly ever other conceivable arena--but he is also the frontrunner to be the Republican candidate for president.

So the question that everyone in the media is asking is "how do we cover this."

Rachel Maddow has the answer. Last night Ms. Maddow stopped by Late Night with Seth Meyers and Seth posed this very question to her. Her response was basically to ride it out.

"I love the idea that he's just a celebrity and that this isn't an actual political campaign but it turns out Republican voters want Donald Trump more than they want any of the forty other people running," remarked Maddow. "That is a gift from God in terms of having this be my job."

Basically it's all hair jokes and eye rolls until you realize that Trump is, for the moment, the leading candidate for the Republican nomination.
