Aydian Dowling a Semifinalist to Cover Men’s Health
The transgender fitness model is one of 10 men who could cover the magazine’s November issue.
After winning over massive amounts of popularity during its preliminary stages, Aydian Dowling is one of Men's Health semifinalists to cover its November issue.
The 27 year old first gained internet fame by recreating Adam Levine's famous nude shoot for Cosmopolitan UK, gained a huge swell of support from the LGBT community when news of his place in the contest first broke. Since then he's appeared on Ellen and spoken to multiple outlets about his longing to break stereotypes and help "feel pride in masculinity, but not putting down femininity."
Dowling has chronicled his transition on YouTube, where he also produces fitness videos for his brand, Beefhead Fitness, targeted at trans individuals, and runs Point 5cc, a clothing company that helps support transition procedures.
