'Imagine all the people living for today...'
Sitting comfortably behind piano cascaded in a foliage of pink and purple pastel flowers, Lady Gaga delivered a powerful and heartfelt cover the John Lennon's 1971 classic "Imagine" at Azerbaijan's Baku Olympic Stadium for the opening ceremonies of the 2015 European Games (which they insist are actually a real thing).
After a show-stopping Sound of Music medley at the 2015 Oscars, the world was once again was reminded why we fell in love with the LGBT advocate and songstress in the first place with this cover.
Before her performance, Gaga took to Instagram to post a pic of a little pre-show practice with which she said, "What an honor to have a few moments with the world watching. Could you imagine? What would you say?"
