With everyone's favorite Christmas pop tune, and now a new Christmas-themed children's book, under her belt, Mariah Carey is adding a TV movie to her holiday repertoire.
Mariah is making her feature directorial debut with A Christmas Melody. Premiering Dec. 19, the Hallmark Channel Christmas musical stars the singer, along with Lacey Chabert (Mean Girls) and Kathy Najimy (Hocus Pocus).
Chabert plays Kristin, a clothing designer and divorced mom who moves her daughter from Los Angeles back home to Ohio. There, she butts heads with her old high school rival, Melissa (Carey), who is now the PTA president with the perfect marriage. Undoubtedly, the typical Hallmark frenemy hijinks ensue.
In an exclusive clip for Entertainment Weekly, Melissa and Kristin tease us with an awkward reunion in the halls of their children's school. Watch the clip below:
