Yekaterina Petrovna Zamolodchikova. But your dad just calls her…Katya!
Recent Out cover star and RuPaul’s Drag Race legend Katya is one of the most beloved queens to come out of the groundbreaking reality show.
Her absurd comedy, deep vulnerability about mental health, and distinct Soviet-glamour aesthetic have catapulted her into superstardom. Following her appearances on season 7 and All Stars 2, Katya’s career has exploded. Her on-screen chemistry with Trixie Mattel on the hit web series UNHhhh and their podcast The Bald and the Beautiful has made them one of the most successful comedy duos in modern queer media.
With a reported 100 million lifetime downloads via RSS in July, Trixie and Katya also recently signed a major three-year deal with the SiriusXM podcast network and hit the road on their Very Bald, Very Beautiful Tour, with dates booked through 2027. In her solo career, Katya hosts the Who's the Asshole? podcast in partnership with Grindr, interviewing celebrity guests as they dish on their wildest sexual experiences. Party. @katya_zamo
