Over the weekend, news broke that DJ Jasmine Infiniti and up-and-coming rapper London Jade had been assaulted in Brooklyn. While the exact details of the assault are unclear, the two transgender women are believed to have been victims of a hate crime. Jade was cut with a knife during the attack and Infiniti has a fractured jaw which has been wired shut. The DJ will go into surgery this week, according to a YouCaring fundraising page that has been set up to provide financial aid for medical expenses.
