All of our troubles have dissolved and been replaced by an untouchable feeling of euphoria.

The two great artistic forces of the world--Carly Rae Jepsen's greatest bop "Run Away With Me" and Our President Lorde--have joined together in a successful effort to bring about world peace. Lorde covered the escapist anthem at the 2018 Ally Coalition Talent Show, hosted by Jack and Rachel Antonoff and the Ally Coalition supporting at-risk LGBT youth (donate here).

Crazy to consider that thanks to this musical rendition, which blesses our eardrums with a more stripped-down version of the 2015 classic, all of our troubles have dissolved and been replaced by an untouchable feeling of euphoria that, rumor has it, is quickly spreading to all world leaders and as a result ending war, hatred, and injustice of all kinds.

This year's talent show also saw performances by Bleachers, Spoon, Phoebe Robinson, Aparna Nancherla, and more. The night closed with a group cover of Fleetwood Mac's hit "Go Your Own Way."
