Lorde Covers Martha Wainwright's 'Bloody Motherf**king A**hole'

"Bloody Motherfucking Asshole" is incidentally one of our fave songs off of the Big Little Lies soundtrack.

Lorde isn't one to let a little rain get her down after her Lollapalooza set was cut short by a Chicago thunderstorm.

The New Zealander performed on another precipitous stage, at the Osheaga Festival in Montreal. While there, she included an acoustic cover of Martha Wainwright's classic song, "Bloody Motherfucking Asshole," as well as singing, "Homemade Dynamite," with the track's co-writer, Tove Lo. "Bloody Motherfucking Asshole" is incidently one of our fave songs off of the Big Little Lies soundtrack, which happens to have just picked up the Television Critics Association award for Best Movie, Miniseries, or Special. And Lorde made sure to acknowledge the art she was referencing with this performance:
