MØ's Explosive 'Nights With You' Video is Gloriously Gay
Watch the visual for MØ's first solo 2017 single.
The video for Danish singer/songwriter MO's new single, "Nights With You," is three things: wildly gay, beautifully architectural and filled with captivating choreography.
MO's visual mostly takes places in a strange outdoor stone cathedral, where MO and her dancers get down and weird among the archways. Another main scene is staged in a large grotto where two guys dance together, hugging and shoving to the beat There are also scenes of muscle cars doing donuts and beautiful queer women staring down the camera. In the words of Froilene Maria, these are a few of our favorite things.
According to MO, "Nights With You" was penned as a loving celebration of her oldest friendship. "I obviously wanted the video to be about friendship, but I wanted it to communicate this in a wide and universal way," she said. "I wanted it to be a reflection on unity in both bright times and in dark--about standing together strong and shining the light across borders and generations."
"Nights With You" is the singer's first solo release of the year, though she's done several amazing collaborations already in the past few months with some of our favorites, including Diplo, Cashmere Cat, and Charli XCX.
