Adele: Longest-Charting Woman in Billboard History
Admit it--you still don't change radio stations when "Rolling in the Deep," "Set Fire to the Rain," or "Someone Like You" come on. You belt out every lyric to "Rumour Has It" and hold every note (ok, maybe not) like it's still 2011. And why shouldn't you? Adele's sophomore album, 21, that mothered those singles and a handful of other amazing songs (hello, "Turning Tables" and "He Won't Go") has broken the record for longest charting album by a woman on the Billboard 200.

Since its release, 21 has spent each of the last 319 weeks flitting around the chart. Before Adele Carole King's Tapestry held the record, but took a more roundabout way to the now second-longest chart appearance. After entering in 1971, King's work stuck around for six years before leaving and coming back in 2010, making its way in and out until last year.
