Fantastic Beasts 2: The Crimes of Grindelwald released a final trailer this week that gave us a closer look at the next installment in J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter prequels, and this new clip spilled literally all the tea. While it unfortunately has more Johnny Depp than we'd like -- that is, any Johnny Depp -- it did give us some nice surprises. The first is the revelation that Nagini, the giant snake who would go on to become Voldemort's final Horcrux, was actually a maledictus -- a human cursed to transform into a serpent (not to be confused with an Animagus). According to Rowling, it's a secret she's been sitting on for 20 years.
But the best part of the trailer is a shot of Dumbledore (Jude Law) looking into what seems to be the Mirror of Erised, which shows younger versions of the future Hogwarts headmaster and his teen lover Grindelwald pining for each other. The gay romance jumped out!
Fantastic Beasts 2: The Crimes of Grindelwald apparates into theaters November 16.
