A Quiet Place, one of this year's best films, was about a post-apocalyptic future where most of humanity had been wiped out by creatures who could hear even the quietest sounds, prompting survivors to become totally silent. Netflix's upcoming film Bird Box is about a post-apocalyptic future where a terrifying creature causes anyone who lays eyes on it to kill themselves -- twist! Sandra Bullock plays a mother trying to protect her children with help from Moonlight's Trevante Rhodes, Get Out's Lil Rel Howery and John Malkovich. Sarah Paulson also co-stars as Bullock's sister.

Bird Box debuts on Netflix December 21.
