The terrifying trailer for Sundance's hit horror film Hereditary is now online.
The movie, which stars goddess-on-earth Toni Collette, is a frightening look at a family after the death of its matriach. Here's the logline: "When Ellen, the matriarch of the Graham family, passes away, her daughter's family begins to unravel cryptic and increasingly terrifying secrets about their ancestry. The more they discover, the more they find themselves trying to outrun the sinister fate they seem to have inherited."
The film also stars Ann Down and Alex Wolff and is written and directed by Ari Aster, distributed by Moonlight's A24. Critical buzz from Sundance has suggested it'll be the next big horror film to cement a firm place in the zeitgeist.
Hereditary is set for release on June 28.
