Hi Out Newsletter readers!

Have you seen our new cover story? This issue, writer Bernardo Sim interviewed the one and only RuPaul! This is Bernardo’s first solo cover for Out -- congratulations!

In the interview, RuPaul talks about his childhood, his mantras, his new biography, his long-spanning music career, and what makes drag revolutionary. If you haven’t read it or seen the amazing pictures, check it out now.

In honor of the cover, we also took a look back at 15 iconic pictures of RuPaul, ranging from 1979 to now.

RuPaul isn’t the only big interview Out scored this week. Out editor Raffy Ermac also interviewed Ricky Martin, who is appearing in Apple TV+’s new limited series Palm Royale, alongside Kristen Wiig, Josh Lucas, Leslie Bibb, Laura Dern, and Allison Janney.

Now, let’s check out the best stories of the last few days.

Gayest Song of the Week

As soon as the music video for “Puntería” by Shakira and Cardi B came out, I have been watching it nonstop! It’s got everything you could possibly want: a great beat and hook, Shakira going ham on the dance moves, a great verse from Cardi, and lots of shirtless men! We love it!

Comment of the Week

If we’re lucky enough we’ll get to complete the natural circle of life,” Jerbearmiami said on Instagram.
