Maybe it will be the animated rom com that the original Toy Story audience deserves.
The toys of the Toy Story franchise have faced some of the most perilous adventures that any toy could endure. They managed to stay together during through the chaos of a child's move, managed to repel a crazy old toy who tried to kidnap Woody and take him to Japan, then even survived the hell that is a toddler's daycare.
Now, for the fourth installment of the franchise, Woody will have to overcome the last obstacle that all of his trials have led up to: love.
Ok, it sounds a little ridiculous, but has Pixar ever let us down before? Not counting Cars, obviously. Disney Chief Creative Officer John Lasseter told CNBC that Toy Story 4 will bring our favorite plastic cowboy back together with his apparent love interest from the first two films, Bo Peep. The bonnet-wearing shepherd was absent from Toy Story 3, which grossed more than $1 billion worldwide, and now fans will get the answer to two burning questions: what happened to her between the second and third installments of the franchise, and has "There's a snake in my boot" been innuendo this whole time?
