Happy Monday, Out readers!
Last night was the 82nd Golden Globes, and it was quite a night for some of our queer favs!
The Golden Globes celebrated the best in movies and TV, with queer shows Hacks and Baby Reindeer each taking home two awards. Baby Reindeer won for Best Limited Series and Best Supporting Performance by a Female for queer actor Jessica Gunning. Jean Smart won her second Golden Globe for starring in Hacks, which also took home the trophy for Best Comedy Series.
Jodie Foster picked up her fourth Golden Globe, this time Best Actress in a Limited Series for starring in True Detective: Night Country.
On the film side, the brilliant trans film Emilia Pérez took home one of the biggest prizes of the night: Best Picture -- Musical or Comedy.
In a history-making moment, trans actress and star of the film Karla Sofía Gascón accepted the award for the film, making a speech about trans resilience.
"I have a lot of things to say to you. You can maybe put us in jail, you can beat us up, but you can never take away our soul, our existence, our identity. And I want to say to you, raise your voice, and freedom, and say 'I am who I am, not who you want,'" she said.

The always legendary Elton John is our Man Crush Monday this week for his indomitable spirit and great sense of humor while presenting at the Golden Globes. While presenting the award for Best Score with Brandi Carlile, he offered an update on his health and eyesight.
"I don't know if you know, but there's been a lot of stories going around about my regressive eyesight, and I just wanted to reassure everybody that it's not as bad as it seems," John said. "So, I'm so pleased to be here with my co-host, Rihanna."
