Chris Hemsworth Is Going to Be a Male Stripper in New Comedy

Chris Hemsworth will be playing the role that he was born to play and we were born to watch: an erotic dancer.

OK, not really. In fact, he's going to be playing a cop who goes undercover as an erotic male dancer to solve a string of casino heists, according to the The Hollywood Reporter. And while that is great, there's even more to be excited about, because Hemsworth will star in the film alongside Girls Trip star Tiffany Haddish. Haddish will play a detective who is investigating the same case alongside Hemsworth who, once again, will be going undercover as a male stripper.

In case you want to see Hemsworth in more than one upcoming film, the Australian actor has plenty to choose from. Fresh off of Avengers: Endgame, where he mostly played the butt of way too many fat jokes, Hemsworth will also star in an upcoming Hulk Hogan biopic and in the summer tentpole Men in Black: International alongside fellow Endgame star Tessa Thompson.

Haddish will soon star in The Kitchen opposite Melissa McCarthy and Limited Partners with Rose Byrne and Salma Hayek. She currently stars in Tuca & Bertie, a Netflix show from the creators of BoJack Horseman about two 30-something birds who are best friends.

While you're waiting for the Hemsworth-Haddish buddy comedy to come out, maybe it's time to revisit the Magic Mike dance scenes, you know, for research purposes.
