Anna Wintour Reads the Men of the Met Gala to Filth
There's no getting past the editor-in-chief of Vogue
When it comes to shade, any drag queen can take a lesson from the Queen of throwing it, Vogue's editrix-in-chic, Anna Wintour. With gal pal Sarah Jessica Parker in tow, the Lady Wintour paid a visit to Late Night with Seth Meyers where she opened up the library and began to read the men who had come up short at Monday's Met Gala. The men were tasked with a white tie dress code and apparently only Benedict Cumberbatch was up to it.
Here are some of Anna's withering assessments, delivered with the kind of cool even Dorian Corey would have to begrudgingly salute:
Tom Brady: "He obviously did not look at the invitation."
Jake Gyllenhaal: "Brooklyn White Tie."
Hugh Jackman: "My understanding is this is called 'White Tropical Dinner Jacket.'"
Kanye West: "Almost perfect but he doesn't have the wain collar or the white tie." --With an assist from Seth: "I like that he got absolutely as close as he could and then didn't wear the white tie. That's a very Kanye take on it."

Bradley Cooper: "If you read your Emily Post -- which I know you do, Seth -- his studs are onyx and they should've been mother of pearl."
