Fashion Group International Names Rising Stars

Fashion Group International--a non-profit organization dedicated to educating and supporting working professionals in the fashion industry as well as examining the various issues and relevant topics currently affecting the business--have announced the finalists for the Rising Star Awards. The award luncheon, now in its 15th year, and which is aimed at bringing attention to emerging talents, will be held on January 26th this year. In the category of menswear, designers Simon Spurr (pictured left), Rob Magness of Grown & Sewn, and Ian Velardi and Luis M. Fernandez of Number: Lab have been named as nominees, with Thom Browne presenting the award.
