On Thursday, Michael Sam made history again when he signed a four-year contract with the St. Louis Rams making him an official member of the team and first out player in the NFL.
FoxSports reports the deal is worth $2.65 million with $46,000 guaranteed.
Sam will join his entire rookie class this season. All 11 members selected during the Draft made the final cut.
Sam celebrated by tweet a photo of his rookie teammates with the caption, "Grateful, humbled, and motivated after officially signing with all my Rams rookie brothers."
