...and five other things you should know today

1. On a radio interview with Elvis Duran, Sarah Paulson chatted about Beyonce, American Horror Story speculation, and her sex scene with Neil Patrick Harris. "I mean excuse me," she began, "does anything beat that? I have two heads getting boffed by Neil Patrick Harris on national television. I mean what more do I need?" Clearly enjoying the trip down memory lane, she then added, "... His bare ass right in my face, it was great!" [A video of the interview is available on Elvis Duran's website]

2. Speaking of his upcoming series Cucumber and Banana, Russell T. Davies address the changing nature of LGBT accpetance in today's society. "Just because your parents are happy with your gayness doesn't mean your life's fine," he said. "No 18-year-old is happy! You will have problems. You will make your life a problem, or find problems. I wanted to explore that, to say, equality doesn't mean happiness." Interestingly, he also said that despite Banana's characters all being realtively young, there won't be a coming out storyline, which is a departure from normal explorations of LGBT youth. 3. It seems that accusations of Photoshoped bulge-boosting in his recent Calvin Klein campaign really struck a nerve in Justin Bieber. In addition to threatening a lawsuit, he recently posted a revealing towel photo to Instagram and has apparently been parading himself commando before papparazi all in order to prove that he's not lacking downstairs. 4. But before we jump to conclusions and think (hope?) that Bieber's insecurities may just lead him to accept the $2 million offer to film a gay porn scene, there's some very disturbing news out of Men.com. Johnny Rapid, the gay-for-pay pornstar who made the proposition to Bieber, is facing jailtime for beating his girlfriend and allegedly asking her to arrange a threesome with a 14-year-old girl. 5. In a first, the World Economic Forum, which will be holding its annual meeting in Switzerland this week, has dedicted a special session that "looks at LGBT equality through the lens of workplace inclusion." [HRC Blog]

6. Russell Brand, British comedian and revolutionary, recently lashed out in defence of Bruce Jenner following the deeply problematic cover story run by InTouch magazine. In his The Trews video series, Brand labelled the article "bullying." "Stop," he demanded, "Bruce Jenner is a human being." "What this does," he conlcudes, "is it sanctions people being judgemental and cruel towards transgender folk." Watch the full video below. [The Advocate]
