fan, it is somewhat out of left field to hear that Sir Ian McKellen is a One Direction fan. Last week, 1D and McKellen both went on the Graham Norton show and it turns out that they admire each others work. films, but it never came to be...Until now.
"You're amazing," said Styles with a gleeful, almost star struck look on his face. "So are you," replied a beaming McKellen. Sir Ian even wore his One Direction T-shirt for the occasion. Gandolf is a Directioner, who knew?
