It's almost hard to believe this hasn't happened sooner -- Aretha Franklin takes on Adele's unstoppable 2010 hit, "Rolling In the Deep," for a new album of covers. The singer adds her own signature wails to Adele's kiss off anthem.

Of course, it's not the only song Franklin puts her spin on. For the album, Aretha Franklin Takes On The Great Diva Classics, Franklin takes on Alicia Keys, Barbra Streisand, and Sinead O'Connor. You can check out all the covers when the album hits stores on Oct. 21.
