Ranking the Shirtless Selfies of the Week

Celebrities love taking selfies. And this week proved to be no different with some of our favorites, from Zachary Quinto to Frank Ocean, shedding their clothes for their iPhones. But not all of them faired the same. Let's review the week in shirtless selfies.

5. James Franco

Franco is the king of selfies. Not a day goes by without a new upload from the actor. However his latest one, which he later deleted from Instagram, screams of desperation. What is unclear is what happened immediately prior to the pic being taken. Did he discover something unwanted on his body? Was he subject to something too NSFW to discuss here? Or is he just high, happy, sad, depressed or none of the above? Who knows. Ick.

4. Austin Mahone

We're not sure what to make of this shirtless selfie from Mahone. The 18-year-old singer seems excited to show off his cape pants but we're not buying it. Besides, it's all too Bel Ami.

3. Mark Wright

Generally we have no complaints about see The Only Way is Essex star shirtless with his abs on display, but here things look a bit sad. "My bed feels empty," Wright exclaims in his caption. While we volunteer as tribute to fill that space, we just think Wright needs some sleep. Come back to us when you're a bit more rested and ready for action.

2. Frank Ocean

Oh Frank. How you tease us with your late-night selfie posted to Tumblr. You took it down nearly as fast as you gave fans a heart attack with 8-pack abs. You said that all posts between 2 a.m. and 7 a.m. shall be forgiven but we never asked for an apology. Well just that you post more (or release some new music.)

1. Zachary Quinto

Quinto needs no introduction but we do appreciate him re-introducing his lean physique to fans. Apparently he's working out for his new film Agent 47 hitting theaters next year. And he didn't delete it. How nice of Zach... All we can say is MOAR please. No complaints on our end.
