Way too cheerful for a Monday

Lily Allen's return to the public eye has been fraught with controversy. Her video for "Hard Out Here" spawned 8 million think pieces and her response to said think pieces spawned 8 million more. Now she's come out with a new track, "Air Balloon," and the controversial question surrounding this one will be, "is it any good?"

She posted the track on her Twitter with the following warning, "If you thought the Bear and Hare was annoying, you won't want to watch this." "Bear and Hare" refers to her Keane cover that played during a super sappy Christmas ad for British department store John Lewis. While "Air Balloon" is nowhere near as mawkish or precious as the "Bear and Hare" ad, it's still really upbeat. Check out the track below and decide for yourself:
