Glee has a campy, superhero-themed episode planned for Thanksgiving (November 22), titled "Dynamic Duets," bringing back the duets-themed episodes from season one and two. Character rivals Marley and Kitty will cover '80s hit "Holding Out for a Hero" by Bonnie Tyler. I wonder if they will have a more spectacular performance than the late Tandi Iman Dupree? Episode teaser:
TV Guide tells us we will finally find out more from Blaine's cheating escapade and the other guy involved. The inevitable return of The Warblers is here, as they appear to try to steal Blaine back, whom does a performance of Kelly Clarkson's "Dark Side" with them. Bad boy, gone good Sebastian returns, and there is a new cute and scheming warbler, Hunter, played by Nolan Gerard Funk. Much drama will ensue if Blaine does leave for the Warblers, as he is not only the leader of the New Directions, but student body president as well.
Next week, the final glee club member of the class of 2012 returns for the "Thanksgiving" episode, reuniting the unholy trinity. Quinn, Santana, and Brittany will cover The Supremes, and there will also be a number by many of the graduates together in a mashup of Simon & Garfunkel's "Homeward Bound" and Phillip Phillips' "Home."
Maybe due to drama in last week's "Grease" episode, Kurt and Rachel will be have a 'kiki' in New York, and cover The Scissor Sisters' song with Isabella, played by Sarah Jessica Parker, mashed up with "Turkey Lurkey Time" from the Broadway musical Promises, Promises. All this takes place during Sectionals, where New Directions will cover PSY's "Gangnam Style" and will compete against The Warblers.
