Lady Gaga is tired of being in the public eye--at least for now.
The singer appeared Sunday night on Oprah's Next Chapter for a sit-down interview with La Winfrey, during which she revealed that she is planning to take a serious break from speaking to the press.
"Other than this interview, Oprah, I do not intend to speak to anyone for a very long time," she said.
The "Born This Way" singer claimed that she's even given up reading.
"The latest thing I do is I don't read a damn thing," she admittted. "No press, no television, if my mom calls and says, 'Did you hear about?' I don't want to know nothing about anything that is going on in relation to music. I shut it all off."
Well, almost. Gaga is, of course, about to head out on a world tour. Though once she's finished with that, she has some serious plans for non-business related activities.
"I want a husband," she said. "Well, I'm being superfluous. I don't want to have one kid. I want to have a few."
How many kids does the superstar, who might have to give up her over-the-top outfits to chase a brood around a playground, really think she can handle?
"I want a soccer team," she said.
