The Great White Way remains gay friendly family fun.
There are few places in the world like New York during the holidays. There's something magical about the city that's undeniable, which explains why tourists and visitors come in droves this time of year. Not only is the yuletide spirit an attractive draw, New York offers world-class entertainment to its guests. Broadway alone has a plethora of offerings for those looking for gay-friendly fun, a show to entertain the family, or both. Whether you'd like to see Sex and the City's Kim Cattrall vamping in the classic Noel Coward play Private Lives, perky cheerleaders witholding coitus fromt their baskeball-playing boyfriends until they win a game in Lysistrata Jones (pictured above), Broadway legends Patti LuPone and Mandy Patinkin belting their guts out side-by-side, or the new same-sex makeover that On A Clear Day You Can See Forever has received, you can be assured that it's all available to you in the Big Apple. For a complete rundown of the gayest and greatest shows currently treading the boards, check out The Advocate's theater listings HERE.
