The Kennedy Center Honors took place on Sunday night, giving celebrities a chance to cool their heels in Washington, D.C., hang out with the president and take home a pretty bitchin' medal for their contributions to the arts.
This year's honorees included Yo-Yo Ma, Meryl Streep, Barbara Cook, Sonny Rollins and Neil Diamond, and they were toasted (and occasionally slightly roasted) by talent like Robert DeNiro, Glenn Close (who sang "Losing My Mind" from Follies), Emily Blunt, Rafael Saadiq and Smokey Robinson.
The entire ceremony will air on CBS on Dec. 27, but that's a lifetime away and meanwhile there's already this great video of Meryl Streep being all humbled by the experience. That, kids, is what they call acting.
