This morning Scrubs star Zach Braff took to his official website to announce that he is "an open member of the homosexual community." But before you start laying out his team uniform, there's just one tiny problem: Braff isn't gay and he wasn't responsible for the posting (which doesn't come as a shock since no self-respecting gay would call himself a "member of the homosexual community").
A rep for Braff is blaming the post on hackers and notes that the website hasn't been used by the actor since 2006. Braff himself took to Facebook to address the issue: "My old website got hacked. Someone issued a 'coming out' statement on my behalf. I'm still straight and in love with my girlfriend. But not too straight; I still love musicals, brunch and Doogie Howser."
Well -- gay or not -- at least he has good taste in retro sitcoms?
