It's no secret that people love cats, and fashion people are no exception. Anna Wintour's second-in-command, the flame-haired Grace Coddington is obsessed with them to the point that she wrote a book about them. Effortlessly chic clothing line United Bamboo released a 2011 Cat Calendar late last year. The 2009 ad campaign for luxury label Lanvin, designed by Alber Elbaz, featured models and -- you guessed it -- cats.
Even considering all the feline brouhaha, when we saw Anna Sui's New York Fashion Week show feature toppers that looked like kitties, we assumed it was just a fanciful runway accessory that would never be put in to production. But the gals at Fashionista dug further and found that the cat hats will be sold -- for a whopping $205. Cats -- so hot right now.
