Stylist Nicola Formichetti, featured as part of OUT's' 'Hot List' last year, was appointed creative director at the fashion house Thierry Mugler late last year. This past week, he presented his first show for the label. The collection, which was expectedly moody, dark and intense, received mixed reviews. While some critics, like Cathy Horyn, thought that the reinterpretation had some legs and was interested in seeing where Formichetti would take the brand, many outlets, such as the The AP and noted fashion blog Fashionista were under-whelmed. While the show itself was the talk of the town, the release of this video, featuring Formichetti's muse for the collection, Rick Genest -- who goes by Rico and is a living artwork of anatomical tattoo artistry-- and music created by none other than Ms. Gaga, another member of Formichetti's fabulously eccentric inner-circle. Regardless of what you thought of the show, there's no denying that this video is sexy, subversive, and morose -- just what you'd want and expect from the uber-stylist.
