Easy A, one of our favorite films of the year, is headed to DVD and Blu-ray on December 21. In the tradition of films like Clueless, Drop Dead Gorgeous, and Mean Girls, the comedy is a (loose) modern re-telling of The Scarlet Letter (but with a better soundtrack) and features Emma Stone, Lisa Kudrow, Patricia Clarkson, Stanley Tucci, Amanda Bynes, Burlesque's Cam Gigandet, and Thomas Haden Church.
The DVD and Blu-ray feature hours of grade "A" bonus features, including commentary from Emma Stone and director Will Gluck, Emma Stone's webcam audition footage, and a gag reel. The Blu-ray edition includes BD-Live(tm) enabled movieIQ(r)+sync, which allows viewers to access live trivia information about Easy A's cast, crew, music and production while watching the movie, the Extra Credit: Pop-Up Trivia Track and the bonus featurettes "The Making of Easy A," "The School of Pop Culture: Movies of the Eighties" and "Vocabulary of Hilarity."
Easy A will be available on December 21 on Blu-ray for $34.95 and DVD for $28.95. Pre-order your copy now at Amazon.com. Or -- try your luck and enter to win one of five copies of Easy A on DVD. All you have to do is tell us your favorite teen comedy in the comments section of this post by Sunday, December 19 at 11:59pm. We'll choose five winners at random from the entries received.
