Sherry Vine has been making us laugh for over 18 years. She's known for brilliantly executed parodies of the biggest hits on the charts (her latest is a remake of Katy Perry's "Firework" which she's artfully transformed into "Fire Crotch") and her devotion to going as over the top as necessary (and then a little further than that) to steal the attention from mainstream artists always keeps us coming back for more.
She recently dropped by the Out studio to chat about her parodies, Lady Gaga (if you've never seen Sherry's remake of "Bad Romance," entitled "Shit My Pants,"get thee to YouTube immediately) and her upcoming Bar d'O reunion shows at Indochine in NYC where she'll share the stage with drag goddess Joey Arias and "the Queen of Gay Soul," Sade Pendavis:
The Bar d'O reunion will take place December 19 and 26 at 10pm at Indochine, 430 Lafayette St. b/w E 4th & Astor Place. Table reservations with dinner only. Standing room reservations at bar and lounge available by priority entrance list. $20 at the door. For reservations call 212-505-5111 (the event is always sold out -- so call now).
