Hummer: Sky Ferreira's "One"

Yesterday, 17-year-old Sky Ferreira released the first single, "One," from her debut album due later this summer. With it's robot-centered lyrics, the song, produced by Bloodshy & Avant, treads on familiar territory (Robyn and Marina and the Diamonds have already been riding the robot shuttle this spring) but bucks the traditional pop blueprint by breaking from the expected chorus/verse/chorus format. Twelve hours later, our iPods are already sick of it, but we have only just begun to spin this sucker.
