Abercrombie & Fitch Relaunch Quarterly Magazine

The purveyor of polos and flannel, Abercrombie & Fitch, is set to bring back its magalog, A&F Quarterly. Out of print in the U.S. since 2003, the quarterly features A&F clothes and scantily clad models. How scanty? Let's just say the idea of an A&F magazine isn't the only thing cheeky.

Coming in at 176 pages, A&F's catalog hits stores July 17 for $10. Pre-orders are being taken on its website here, although a porn site-esque pop-up warns users that the content is suitable only for those 18 and older. According to the site, pre-orders allow lustfuls to get their paws on a copy between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. the day of. After 4, the magazine goes into a general pool where it's first-come, first-served -- no pun intended.

A former wilderness clothier, A&F is known for its loud music and fragrant (read chockingly-cologned) atmosphere. Bare-chested, predominately white models are also featured in its advertising as well as in the flesh at larger stores. Ralph Gardner from the Wall Street Journal writes about the store's appeal to tourists, while one of the more shockingly gay advertisements for Abercrombie, the franchises children's store, can be found here. Fashionista also has several images from the magazine to whet your appetite. Now if only the clothes were as appealing as the models.
