Hurricane Ida certainly rained on our parade. It was nonstop torrential rain all morning, which delayed us. As a result, we decided to shoot at our hotel, rather than at location. The models were relieved. They had slight hangovers from their night out in San Juan, so during the delay they managed to get some shut-eye.
Â
As soon as the sun began to shine in late afternoon, it was straight to work. When a gorge rainbow appeared, we took it is a sign that we just had to pull out that crazy super-athletic-wear-looking Bernard Willhelm top with cutouts on the chest and belly. We think it is the End with those cutoff Levi's.
Â
We also busted out a severe sporno-esque DSquared2 look, which we ended up taking to the beach. Though we'd been shooting mostly on rocks with the sky and clouds as our backdrop, we just couldn't resist a "Cherish" reference. In no time at all, we had our amazing models frolicking in the waves. I think the images are a huge success.

It's time to head back to New York. Can't wait to get these photos back from photographer Greg Lotus and make an edit. We hope you'll like the story as well!
