It's no secret that the future of women's reproductive rights in the United States has been jeopardized by the retirement of Supreme Court Justice Anthony Kennedy. With Donald Trump expected to announce his replacement nomination today, many are speculating that Roe v. Wade could be contested and potentially overturned in the near future with a right-leaning SCOTUS bench.
During a segment on a recent episode of her Netflix show, The Break, Michelle Wolf took the time to salute abortions for all the good they do and to call out the bullshit stigma surrounding them. "Pro-life is a propaganda term that isn't real," she said. "Get the terminology straight. First of all, these people are anti-abortion, which means they're anti-woman. If these people were actually pro-life they would be fighting hard for healthcare, childcare, education, gun control, and protecting the environment."
But what about the politicians of the status quo who have been controlling the reproductive rights of women since this country was founded? "Men, I'm sorry, I'm sure this brings up a lot of feelings, and thoughts, and points that you want to make," said Wolf. "And I just want to let you know that's all very irrelevant." Well, there's your morning tea. Watch, below.
