Cardi B may be getting a big payout for her upcoming performance at Coachella, but it's still going to break the bank. The buzzy rapper revealed that her booking fee won't cover the costs of her set, and she'll in fact pay a huge amount out of pocket for the gig.
"I have to invest so much money on my stage set," she told SiriusXM's Hip Hop Nation. "My own money that I gotta go to Wells Fargo and write a check. It's so crazy. Almost $300 thou." Cardi B shared that she'll take home $70,000 for each weekend of Coachella, meaning she'll put around $160,000 into her stage set. The rapper also said that when she was first booked to play Coachella she didn't realize how huge it was, but is now preparing with 10-hour rehearsals until the festival.
