'Kim Possible’ Trailer: Call Me, Beep Me if You Find My Wig

Naked mole rat erasure? Surprisingly anti-queer.

Call me beep me if you wanna reach me, sweetie: the first trailer for Disney's live action Kim Possible movie is here to save the day! (Please imagine that I am waving a wand: "I'm Rose Dommu and you're watching Disney Channel.")

Like generations of ass-kicking high schoolers before her, Kim Possible is back from the Disney Channel vault -- where The Proud Family and Even Stevens are biding their time, waiting for their moment -- in a live action remake that's going to teach a new generation of young women how to save the world and wear cargo pants. According to Deadline, the live-action remake of the beloved early 2000s cartoon will follow the young heroine (Sadie Stanley) as she navigates the "intimidating new social hierarchy" of high school -- relatable!

Kim and her BFF Ron (Sean Giambrone) "meet and befriend Athena (Ciara Wilson), a new classmate and Kim Possible superfan who is having an even worse day than Kim. With Kim's guidance and friendship, Athena transforms into the newest member of Team Possible. Soon, Athena starts to eclipse Kim just as the nefarious Drakken and Shego resurface in Middleton with a master plan to finally stop Kim." Also, Buffy the Vampire Slayer star and iconic redhead Alyson Hannigan plays Kim's mom, Dr. Ann Possible, meaning that the girl power goddesses have blessed this film.

The first photos from the remake were...not great. Let's be real, they looked like the sale section of Fashion Nova. But this trailer is pretty slick and heavy on the action.

This trailer is a vast improvement on all the teases we've seen thus far, but there's one major problem: where is Rufus, Ron's naked mole rat? We will not stand for this mole rat erasure!

Kim Possible isn't the first early aughts Disney Channel reboot: last year, That's So Raven sequel Raven's Home premiered, following the children of Raven Baxter (Raven-Symone) and Chelsea Grayson (Anneliese van der Pol) who lived together but for some reason weren't lesbians. Weird flex but ok.

Kim Possible airs February 15 on Disney Channel.
