A Conservative Father Recognizes His Gay Son’s Porn Star Boyfriend in Hilarious SNL Skit

It's always nerve-wracking introducing your significant other to your parents. Amid the questions like, "how long have you known each other," and "do you want kids," what your SO does for a living will undoubtedly come up. If you bring home a doctor or lawyer, by all means, talk them up. But if you're in an SNL skit and your boyfriend is a gay porn star, just hope your dad doesn't recognize him.

This past weekend Sam Rockwell, who recently won a Golden Globe for his role in Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, hosted SNL. In one of the standout skits, Rockwell played conservative father, Richard, on-edge waiting to meet his son's boyfriend for the first time. Of course, that's before Richard knew he'd seen his son's boyfriend, Marcus, before. Many times in fact - probably in many different positions.

"Does Marcus seem familiar to you," Richard asks his wife. "I feel like I see you all the time," he adds. After Marcus has a particularly grunt-laden time opening a wine bottle all it takes is a mention of his tattoos (a couple of guns right over his butt, of course) for Richard to put it all together.

"I got one of my top-tier gay porn stars in my house!" Richard says. "I have cuter shirts, just so you know." After going on about how one of Marcus' weekends in Palm Springs finally made him subscribe to Cocky Boys, Richard grabs his jacket and heads for the door. "Well, anywho, I guess I'm getting a divorce - and I'm probably stepping down as pastor. Goodbye family." And of course, he can't abandon his family without his gateway to gay porn - his laptop.
