Niki And The Dove -- "Mother Protect" Niki And The Dove, our new favorite band, have a little bit of a Fever Ray thing going on, but that's merely the jumping off point. With gurgling beats and a punishing melody, "Mother Protect" starts off at a soft simmer before rampaging towards a full boil with lead singer Malin Dahlstrm roaring "You can't keep me down -- I am done! I am furious!" We feel you girl -- and we want more. Hurt us, please!
