King Princess is having to defend her lesbian street cred.
After comments from a 2024appearance on a bonus episode of the podcast Celebrity Book Club with Steven & Lily resurfaced, singer-songwriter King Princess took to TikTok on Sunday to clear the air regarding her sexuality, which has included sleeping with men. In the original podcast interview, King Princess, who uses a range of pronouns, said that they had “taken a lot of dick” in response to a question about a “bi phase.”
“Sometimes you get bored, and I’m just gonna ride a cock,” she said, but then added, “I’m not bi.”
King Princess denies being bi, but openly speaks about having sex with men.

In a since-deleted TikTok video, King Princess responded to people who again tried to label her “bisexual” for sleeping with both men and women after the clip went viral in sapphic social media circles.
“You’re pissed that I’ve slept with a guy,” she said in the video, which has been shared on X and viewed over 2 million times in one repost alone. “By this logic, it’s the same thing that Republicans say when a guy explores their sexuality with another guy and they’re like, ‘You’re gay.’ That’s what you’re saying. I have to be bisexual because I’ve slept with men. That’s insane.”
She continued, “I have never been in love with a man. I have never dated a man. I have simply slept with them because, why not? This is ridiculous. You think that I’m less of a lesbian because I’m not a gold star? Insane. And, quite frankly, homophobic.”
King Princess went on to say that they are “pretty trash” at sex with men.
The TikTok video appeared after several corners of the lesbian internet began questioning King Princess’ sexuality due to the resurfaced 2024 interview. In that conversation, she later continued, “I would fuck a dude if I was bored enough to fuck a dude. It’s easier to be like, if you’re single and in a foreign country …”
In the comment section of each of King Princess’s recent TikTok videos, people have reprimanded the singer for their language, insisting that they are bi or insinuating that they are only a lesbian for clout and have a secret boyfriend.
“Such a great song to sing to your boyfriend!!” one person wrote under a video of King Princess covering a Neil Young song. People also wrote, simply, “Bi,” under several videos of the singer-songwriter training a chipmunk.
“lesbians don't get bored and feel attracted to men btw, no hate but it's disrespectful to misuse labels,” one person wrote on a video of King Princess acknowledging the one-year anniversary of her studio album Girl Violence.
“it's okay to be bi man. what's up with everyone misusing labels now,” another person wrote under the same video.
Many people on Reddit, TikTok and X repeatedly claimed that King Princess was experiencing “internalized biphobia” for not embracing the bisexual label. King Princess specifically responded to at least one comment on TikTok labelling her as bi.
“It’s kind of lowkey disrespectful of bisexual to say that what I have done and was doing in the past is an identity,” Princess said. “I would say I was literally just being a slut, an attention whore and wanting someone to want me. I don’t think that’s fair to the bisexual community to even equate me with that.”
She continued, “I am a lesbian. The amount that I actually care about men romantically or sexually is so small, like, it would be inappropriate to call myself bisexual. I am a lesbian, I’ve been a lesbian, I will continue to be a lesbian, because it doesn't change.”
King Princess ended the video by saying, “You can’t tell me what my sexuality is. It’s inappropriate, girl.”
After King Princess’s deleted TikTok started to go viral, the footage only further fueled the social media controversy.
“sleeping with men before figuring out your sexuality is wildly different from publicly stating “i’m a lesbian but i’ll jump on a cock when i’m bored lol,” one person wrote on X in a post that has been viewed over 375,000 times as of this writing.
While addressing the controversy, King Princess also accused other famous lesbians of being in secret relationships with men.
“Go find someone else who’s actually lying, who’s like really fucking lying,” they said on TikTok. “There are a bunch of them.”
King Princess doubled down in a comment on TikTok, writing, “You guys might also wanna check on the pop divas who are actively lying about being gay…in fully committed relationships with men on the DL.”
King Princess did not provide any names or evidence of current lesbian pop stars being in relationships with men.
