Connor Storrie is the talk of the town!

In the past year, the 26-year-old Heated Rivalry star has gone from being a relatively unknown actor and model to being the talk of the Emmys, needing security just to work on that hockey butt he’s become famous for, and being cast alongside a famous pop star.

All eyes were on Storrie as his buzzcut made its red carpet debut when he appeared at the 2026 Creative Arts Emmy Awards on Sept. 6.

Storrie rocked his controversial new haircut and had mom Linda Storrie on his arm at the award show. He wore a dark gray Saint Laurent Spring 2027 suit, while his mom looked beautiful in a sparkly, form-fitting gown.

This was the star of the popular gay hockey romance’s first-ever Emmy nomination in the Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series category for his February hosting gig on Saturday Night Live. Storrie didn’t ultimately win the award, it went to the late Rob Reiner.

Not only did Storrie make a splash on the red carpet by showing off his mom, but he also posed for photos with openly gay actor Coleman Domingo — who was up for two Emmys for his roles in Euphoria and The Four Seasons — and had a moment backstage where fans say Storrie can be heard telling Domingo he ā€œsmells goodā€ and asking about his cologne.

It’s not just the paparazzi on the red carpet who can’t get enough of Storrie; it’s the fans too. He and co-star Hudson Williams have been photographed all over Toronto as they film Heated Rivalry season 2 by eager fans, and things have apparently gotten so, well, heated that he now needs security guards just to go to the gym.

In an article published by Page Six Hollywood on Sept. 7, the publication claims ā€œa spyā€ said Storrie was working out at the Shangri-La hotel in Toronto surrounded by ā€œtwo of his own security, plus two Shangri-La security on hand… so, in total, four men staged at the doors and exits, all of them with secret service-style earpieces.ā€

Storrie may already need help keeping fans at bay while he’s working on his hockey bod, but his star is only rising.

After months of speculation, it was just officially announced that he has been cast alongside Billie Eilish in Sarah Polley’s film adaptation of Sylvia Plath’s iconic novel The Bell Jar.

Storrie is also set to star in the upcoming A24 comedy Peaked opposite Laura Dern, a Melissa McCarthy thriller called Turpentine, and Halina Reijn's upcoming A24 period drama Please, which also stars Gracie Abrams.
