Cara Delevingne is Playboyās first out lesbian print cover star.
Appearing nude in a full pictorial photographed by Zoey Grossman, with a profile written by My Year of Rest and Relaxation author Ottessa Moshfegh, Delevingne is also making history as the first supermodel to wear the Bunny Suit on a Playboy cover since Kate Mass in 2014.
āIāve been naked before in shoots, in movies. But it always made me feel a bit gross when it was for someone else ā of course, it was my choice and I agreed to it, but it never felt empowering,ā Delevingne told the lifestyle magazine in a press release. āI didnāt feel great after it. But today I had so much fun. Iāve never felt more comfortable in my body and in my sexuality. I feel like Iām in more of my prime as a woman and as a sexual being.ā

In the profile, Delevingne opens up about her relationship with Minke, her girlfriend since 2022, calling the musician a ānormieā and āthe most incredible person.ā
āWeāre best friends, obviously, lovers, and everything else, but Iāve never had a relationship like it and felt so close to someone and felt so seen,ā Delevingne said.
After previously identifying as pansexual, Delevingne announced she was a lesbian in May of this year in a completely iconic way: by whispering it ā while micād up, of course ā to RosalĆa in the singerās confessional booth on her LUX World Tour. āIf you donāt know this already, Iām a lesbian, and my weakness used to be straight women,ā Delevinge told RosalĆa. āBecause they werenāt really straight. I donāt think anyoneās really straight. Thatās the point.ā
While Delevingne is the first out lesbian to appear on the print cover of Playboy, Kehlani graced the second-ever digital cover of the magazine in 2021 with a photoshoot that found her dressing in both masculine and feminine styles. Kehlani identifies as a lesbian, and spoke in 2024 about coming to that realization.
āI was always bi before I identified as, like, as a lesbian,ā she said in a podcast interview. āAnd then one day I was like, āWow, why do my brain break at boys?'ā
