Selling Sunset star Chrishell Stause, unfortunately, didn't have the People's Choice Awards experience she hoped for.
Despite being nominated in two categories, Stause wasn't able to bring along her partner, nonbinary singer G Flip. In fact, she was told her plus one had to come from the cast, despite the other cast members already being invited.
After the event, Stause tweeted her anger about not being able to bring her partner.
"I am on the sauce a bit so I will prob regret this later. BUT People's Choice didn't allow me to bring my partner to the awards," she tweeted after the ceremony. "I could ONLY bring a plus one if it was a cast member. Wtf."

"EVERY single cast member invited and some had plus ones," she continued. "I was nominated for Best Reality Star and yet they said NO."
She also tweeted that since other cast members were already invited, and some of them got their own plus ones, it didn't make sense that she couldn't invite her partner.
"Why would some have a plus one and not me who was individually nominated from the cast," she asked. "I just really hate bullsh*t. Clearly what I was told was not the reason and no one tried to clear it up."
Selling Sunset was up for Reality Show of 2022 but ended up losing to The Kardashians. Stause was the only cast member of Selling Sunset to get an individual nomination in the Reality TV Star of 2022 category, where Khloe Kardashian took home the prize.
Normally, a multiple award nominee would get to bring a plus one to an event like this, especially if their partner is also a celebrity.
Stause explained that G Flip actually wasn't in the country for the awards and wouldn't have been able to go anyway, but still felt like the lack of invitation was a snub.
"If you are going to invite the whole cast of Selling Sunset, @peopleschoice awards, then why did my plus one HAVE to be a cast member or otherwise told I do not get a plus one..??"
“If you are going to invite the whole cast of #sellingsunset @peopleschoice awards then why did my plus one HAVE to be a cast member or other wise told I do not get a plus one..?? If no other cast invited then that would make sense but…”— Chrishell Stause (@Chrishell Stause) 1670407976
Stause has been dating nonbinary Australian singer G Flip since May of this year, when Stause announced their relationship during the reunion special for Selling Sunset season 5.
"I recently have been spending a lot of time with someone that's very important to me," Stause revealed. "Their name is G Flip. They're nonbinary, so they go by they/them. And they are an extremely talented musician."
The People's Choice Awards have yet to respond.
